Basic Center Program Manager
The Basic Center Program Manager oversees the daily Runaway/Homeless Youth shelter operations, special projects/activities, service delivery and documentation, program staff, and volunteers for the Basic Center Program facility.
Basic Center Shelter/Outreach Advocate
The Basic Center Shelter & Outreach Advocate will engage runaway and homeless youth on the streets, build trust and help youth make decisions that reduce risk of harm, while remaining non-judgmental, caring and respectful of youth’s unique identities. This grant-funded position also works directly with residents at the temporary, emergency shelter locations, utilizing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care in a safe and supportive environment.
Basic Center Youth Care Advocate - Overnight
The Basic Center Overnight Youth Care Advocate supervises, supports, and cares for youth in a 24/7 residential environment. This full-time, grant-funded position models positive behavior, implements daily routines, and helps youth heal through structure, consistency, and compassion.
